Always learning

A repository of design tutorials and how I used them!
Automating repetitive design tasks with
Excel and illustrator
There are times when I have to make 100+ badges and social announcements all with unique logos and text. It would take me a million years to copy and paste one-by-one. I love being able to use this hack to take a spreadsheet and use illustrator's automation capabilities to get my work done FAST.

Building a web-based, 3D, and interactive
Nintendo Switch
I learned a ton from the way that Nelson (AKA Pixelgeek) used Webflow's 3D transformation and positioning capabilities. I was able to use his 3D teachings to build this interactive and 3D booth. I then used the booth in the 2021 Texas Mobility Summit to host their sponsor booths in a cool interactive showcase.

Using CMS Items to build interactive maps
The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Texas (CTR) came to me needing an interactive map to showcase the different teams and cities that are a part of their Technology Innovation Alliance. I used this tutorial to create sleek hover over animations and to power the map using CMS items. This build ensured that the team would not need to edit any code in the future when they need to make updates.

The ultimate Figma to Webflow course
I have been using Figma for 4 years and Webflow for 3 and I still reference this course because of how in depth and helpful it is. It's a great way to really nail down the process from design to development.

Learn how to add 3D to your site
using Spline.Design
Spline makes it fun and easy to add some 3D flair to your website visuals. This was a just-for-fun tutorial I followed along with to learn more about Spline's animation capabilities.
